We are your contact for practice-oriented and sustainable courses when it comes to artificial intelligence, because the AI Quality & Testing Hub’s mission is to promote the quality of AI systems and make it verifiable. We qualify your employees efficiently and always on the current legal basis in the areas of proving and improving the quality characteristics of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. This should help ensure that users gain confidence in AI applications and that novel technologies are in line with the European value system.
Conditions of participation for AI Quality & Testing Hub training courses
1. scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions of the AI Quality & Testing Hub are binding for contracts regarding fee-based events with the following companies

(also referred to as “we” or “AIQ“), which are provided to customers (hereinafter “customer” or “you“).
Your registration requires your agreement to the respective terms and conditions of participation and use.
2. contact in text form
The term “event” refers to seminars or workshops that AIQ offers as an organizer, in particular face-to-face events and online events organized by AIQ, such as online seminars or workshops and courses in blended learning format.

3. registration for the event
Registrations, rebookings and cancelations must be made in writing by email.
AIQ recommends that registrations for “workshop” events are only made up to 5 working days before the start of the event at the latest, so that documents can still be sent out in good time. If less than 5 working days are allowed, AIQ cannot guarantee that the documents will reach the participant in time for the start of the course.

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in the contract, the participation fees include
For online courses: License fees for the software applications provided by AIQ (e.g. online conferencing software and learning management software) for the duration of the course.
5. services not included
- Arrival and departure of participants and their accommodation or transfers at the venue.
- For face-to-face events in rooms provided by AIQ: Refreshments and lunch during breaks
- The technical infrastructure required for online events on the part of the participants (e.g. Internet access and PC).
6. certificate costs
Fees for the online test are included in the price of the event itself.
7 Prices and due date
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are per person in euros plus VAT. ges. VAT/VAT The net prices are also stated for private end consumers. Invoices for face-to-face events and online seminars or workshops are issued after participation in the event. In the case of blended learning, the invoice is issued after the kick-off event of the respective booked course.
Unless otherwise agreed, the participation fee must be paid within 14 days of receipt of the invoice without deductions.
8. deviations in the implementation
Confirmation of registration by AIQ does not constitute a legal entitlement to the seminar being held on the confirmed date.
AIQ may cancel events if the minimum number of participants (at least 2 participants) is not reached or for serious reasons (e.g. illness of the trainer or force majeure).
In exceptional cases, events may also be canceled at short notice.
AIQ reserves the right to make changes to the venue, the date, the trainer and minor changes to the content of the event.
AIQ will notify registered participants immediately (without undue delay) in text form in the event of changes to the venue or date and in the event of cancellations.
If it is not possible for participants to attend the event due to the change, AIQ will offer alternative dates or, on request, refund participation fees already paid in full.
Beyond this, no further recourse claims can be asserted against AIQ, in particular no compensation for travel and/or accommodation costs or loss of working hours.
9. dealing with disruption
AIQ reserves the right to exclude participants who seriously disrupt the course of the event. In this case, an administrative fee of 20% of the participation fee will be charged for the unattended parts of the event.
In this case, there are no rights of recourse against AIQ.
10. rebooking and cancellation
Cancellations by the participant are free of charge if they are received by AIQ in text form at least three weeks before the start of the event. AIQ asks for your understanding that cancellations at short notice, no-shows or only partial attendance at an event will be charged as full attendance. A substitute participant can be nominated free of charge for face-to-face events up to immediately before the start of the event.
In the case of online events, it is possible to nominate a substitute participant up to 5 working days before the start of the event or kick-off in the case of blended learning.
11. revocation instruction for private participants
If the participant is a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, i.e. if he concludes the participation contract with the provider of the event for a purpose that cannot be attributed to his commercial or independent professional activity, he is granted a right of withdrawal with the following provisions. The right to rebook or cancel the event remains unaffected.
Cancellation policy
This contractual declaration can be revoked in text form (e-mail, fax or letter) within two weeks without stating reasons. The withdrawal period of 2 weeks begins after receipt of this instruction in text form and not before conclusion of the contract or before fulfillment of our obligation to provide information in accordance with § 312 c para. 2 BGB in conjunction with § 1 para. 1, 2 and 4 BGB-InfoV and our obligations pursuant to § 312e para. 1 sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with § 3 BGB-InfoV.
Timely dispatch of the revocation is sufficient to comply with the revocation period.
Consequences of revocation
In the event of an effective revocation, the services already received and any benefits derived must be returned. If this is impossible in whole or in part, compensation must be paid within 30 days of receipt of the revocation instruction.
In the case of a service, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the contracted organizer has begun to perform the service with the express consent of the participant before the end of the withdrawal period or if the participant has initiated this himself.

12. rights to event materials
AIQ learning media are used in our events and made accessible to participants, in particular lecture slides or, in the case of blended learning, content in a learning management system.
All such learning media are protected by copyright and are only intended for personal use by the respective training participants. AIQ (or its licensors) reserves the rights to the learning media and all parts thereof, including translation, reprinting and reproduction. Passing on the learning media, even in part, is not permitted without the express written permission of AIQ. Bartering, copying, reproduction or transfer, broadcasting or other use or toleration thereof is prohibited and may result in civil or criminal prosecution.
This applies both to learning media in paper form and to digital documents.
The respective license agreements must be observed for software used in the context of an event. In the case of face-to-face events, the software used may not be copied or removed from the event rooms without written permission from AIQ.
13. data protection and data use
AIQ guarantees to treat stored personal data with care and to process it exclusively within the scope of the user’s consent under data protection law. Further information on the handling of personal data by AIQ can be found in the privacy policy here.
Events with online access
Participants can dial into online events via a web application. Audio and video content is transmitted, which can originate from the online participant, the trainer and other event participants. The recording of this content is generally prohibited for all participants.
Participants who register for an online event agree with their registration that their audio and video content will be transmitted to other participants using the online conference software.

14. liability
Liability of participants in face-to-face events
For reasons of network security, data carriers brought along by participants may not be used on AIQ computers. Likewise, computers brought along may not be integrated into a network together with AIQ computers. The participant responsible for damage caused by non-compliance and for damage to hardware and equipment is liable.
Liability of the organizer
To the extent permitted by law, liability claims against AIQ are excluded. In particular, damage caused by computer viruses is also excluded.
15. information in accordance with the Consumer Dispute Settlement Act
There is no obligation and no willingness on the part of AIQ to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
16 Other regulations
Additional agreements must be made in text form.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is Erlangen.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
